1. Introduction
   ACCI has created this privacy policy to describe our data gathering practices and to demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personal information.
2. Collection of Data
   ACCI Extension collects the following types of information:
   1. Personal Information: Name, Home/Billing Address, and Telephone Number
   2. Email Address
   3. Social Security Number
   4. Demographic Information: Student/Family Members
   5. Credit Card Information
3. Use of Data
   The ACCI enrollment process requires users to provide personal, demographic and credit card information. The information is used to process registrations and to contact students and or parents when necessary. ACCI may also use personal information for the purpose of future communication on new classes and programs. Web servers typically collect, at least temporarily, the following information: Internet Protocol (IP) address of computer being used; web pages requested; referring web page; browser used; date and time. ACCI may collect statistics identifying particular IP addresses from which ACCI websites are accessed. Cookies are not used to remember users who return to the site. The browser-IP-address information and anonymous-browser history is used to report information about site accesses, for profiling purposes, and for troubleshooting. This information is generally used to improve website presentation and utilization. ACCI does not sell, rent, or exchange any personal information collected or gathered online about visitors unless (i) provided for otherwise in this Privacy Policy; (ii) a service provided on our site requires the interaction with or is provided by a third party; (iii) pursuant to legal process or law enforcement; or (iv) we find that your use of this site violates this Policy or other usage guidelines or as deemed reasonably necessary by us to protect our legal rights and/or property.
   
   3.1 Use of Data: Social Security Number
   Social Security Numbers (SSNs) may be used as the primary means for identifying students and/or parents as current or former enrollees. SSNs are not displayed to other users of the site and are only stored for purposes of identification. The university is required by federal law to report your SSN and other pertinent information to the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to the reporting requirements imposed by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. SSN disclosure is mandatory. If a SSN is not provided, ACCI will not be able to provide the IRS with evidence of fee payments that might entitle students to tax credits.
4. Security
   This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
5. Third Party and Partner Sites
   While using the ACCI Extension website, you may encounter links to the websites of organizations not directly affiliated with ACCI. ACCI does not control the content or information practices of external organizations. We recommend you review the privacy statements of these organizations.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
   We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes either by posting a prominent announcement on our site and/or by sending a message to the e-mail address you have provided to us.
7. No Guarantees
   While this Privacy Policy states our standards for maintenance of personal information and we will make efforts to meet them, we are not in a position to guarantee these standards. There may be factors beyond our control that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, we disclaim any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of Data.
